Dear Queen Esther:
It seems that no matter what I do, I can't seem to get a head. I work two jobs, I tithe and I am active in the church. Yet, I live check to check, my credit is dreadful and my car is falling apart. I thought that God wanted us to have the best in life! What gives?

Dear Frustrated:
What gives you ask? Well not you obviously! Not trying to be short with you dear frustrated, but honestly--out of all you have done, how much of that have you given God credit for? Soem people can't get one jeb let alone hold down two. Some save tithing until the last minute if they even choose to do so and as for credit, none of us win!
God had given us miraculous gifts and many we choose to ignore them. Weh have the joy of the Lord manifested in our lives through the power of praise. Praise is a true testament that God is real. He blesses us with things deeper than the material. Joy, deep set peace, hope, a sound mind, eternal life, consistent and constant forgiveness-- all ours by the spirit of God. Christ urges us to "seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you."
Maybe, dear frustrated, an attitude of grattitude for God providing the things you need will soon render you the things you want. As for what gives-- it should be you. Learn to praise God!!
